Good Friday (April 18th)
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-40
To begin bringing God's Word to life, we will start at the Frederick Rescue Mission (419 West South Street, Frederick, MD 21701) at 6am. During this time volunteers will help to prepare meals (breakfast and lunch) for the day and then assist with serving the community. Additionally, we will have the Frederick Health Department's Mobile Health Unit on site to provide screenings for community members.
Join us at the Baker Park Bandshell as we bring God's Word to Downtown Frederick! Service will begin at 5:00pm, featuring musical selections and a prepared word. Additionally, during service, we will offer activities for children and fulfill God's Word through the humble act of foot washing.
Food Distribution
(April 19th)
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
On Saturday, April 19th beginning at 9am, we will continue our service to the Frederick Community through targeted food distribution at local housing communities. During this time we will also give away adjustable shoes to children in need.
Resurrection Sunday
(April 20th)
"As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 'Don't be alarmed,' he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He isn't here. See the place where they laid Him. But go tell His disciples and Peter, ‘"He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There, you'll see Him, just as He told you.'"'" Mark 16:5-7
Join us on Sunday, April 20th as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ! In-person (and virtual) service will begin at 9:30am at Hope Christian Fellowship Church (5132 Doubs Road, Adamstown, MD 21710). And be sure to join us for refreshments after service.
